Difference in Brown Rice Flour Brands

I got an email in my inbox today that had a great article about the difference in brown rice flours.  I highly recommend reading this.  The article shows pictures of the difference of the brown rice flour in the same recipe.  It really makes a difference in what brand you buy, as to how your baked goods turn out.  Check it out!

  1. Thanks for posting this info. I loved that she had side by side pictures to show the difference, with that only difference being the brand of rice flour. I have tried to grind my own rice. (& I double mill the rice to try to avoid some grittiness) It's OK in things like bread where you don't need a super fine milling. But I just bought the Arrowhead Mills brand to try for finer baking. I feel like in gluten free baking there's so many variables. So now I know from this info, there's variables that make huge differences like just the brands of rice, & how finely it's ground. And I feel better that a few things I've made flopped, using a different brand of rice flour. So I may try a few recipes again.
